NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK- DAVID SHELDRICK ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE – KAREN BLIXEN MUSEUM – GIRAFFE CENTER 0615-1045am- Nairobi National Park. Nairobi National Park morning tour starts at 6:30am and ends at 1045 am. Most accessible and yet wild and natural, Nairobi national park is just a breath and sight away from the bustling Kenya capital -Nairobi city. Upon entry into the park your expert guide leads you into the stunning landscapes of Nairobi National Park, where you'll have the chance to see some of the nation's most iconic animals in the wild. Established in 1946 and Kenya’s first the Nairobi National park is made up of wide open grass savannah plains. Its scattered acacia bush is host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, bushbuck, hippopotamus and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. 1045am – 1200noon: Tour proceeds to the David Sheldrick’s baby elephant orphanage where we view the orphan baby elephants feeding between 11am and 12 noon. 1230Hrs-1330 Hrs. Afternoon visit the Giraffe center where we can feed the Rothschild Giraffe. This is a 120-acre conservation center in the heart of Kenya’s largest city that provides a natural breeding ground for one of Africa’s most graceful animals, Rothschild Giraffe. 1340 hrs. – 1430 Hrs. We shall enjoy lunch at the Karen Blixen coffee garden or Utamanduni restaurant @ own cost. 1440hrs -1600hrs hrs. Tour proceeds to the Karen Blixen Museum where we view relics and listen to a narration of Kenya’s colonial history. Tour driver later drop us off at your Nairobi hotel.
